New day, new challenge! Dimensional change after washing and drying

We started our day in E-building to do the "dimensional change" test in the lab.

We bought the T-shirt from H&M from men's collection.

To test the dimension change of our T-shirt we need to wash it. First, we market the shirt with dots to create six different measurement points.

After that, we weight it and added other fabrics to make sure we are washing a total amount of 2 kilograms.

After that, we all put it in the washing machine and washed it on 40 degrees.

When it came out we tumble dried it on 40 degrees for one hour. Then we measured the marks again and filled in the overview.

We found out that the percentage of the dimensional stability was within tolerance.

When we measured the twist of the side seams. And filled in the overview.

After making the calculation we conclude that it was twisted 2.5%.
